Winning photograph: Beyond the Image and Mohammed Redzuan receiving the award from Mr. Gowtham Adani. Next to him is his wife Mrs. Fathima
My photography journey began with a different way of seeing the world. I have low vision, but I still have strong central vision. Rather than letting my condition define my limits, I chose to express my perspective through photography.
Every photograph I take reflects how I see and experience the world. What some see as a challenge, I have learned to embrace as a source of strength, creativity, and determination.
Recently, I had the privilege of receiving recognition at the Global Ability Photography Challenge 2026 in Ahmedabad. This award is much more than a trophy, it is a reminder that passion, perseverance, and consistency can turn dreams into reality.
I am deeply grateful to my family, teachers, friends, colleagues, mentors, and everyone who believed in and encouraged me throughout this journey. Their support has given me the confidence to keep learning, growing, and pursuing my passion.
To anyone chasing a dream, my message is simple: never let your limitations define your potential. Believe in yourself, stay consistent, and let your passion speak louder than your obstacles.
This recognition is not the destination, it is the beginning of a new journey. I look forward to capturing many more stories through my lens and inspiring others to see the world from a different perspective.
