Here Comes Neurolens by Gabify and it’s AI!

Identification of childhood Autism and other neurodivergence in minutes

AI IS SEEING WHAT OVERS MISS ...

How Neurolens is giving India's children the earliest gift of all — being understood.

A STORY THAT BEGAN WITH A CHILD

Gabify was not born in a boardroom. It was born from a truth that its founder, Sahil, witnessed up close — the desperate, lonely journey that families take when something is different about their child, it missed the developmental milestone and no one helps them understand what it means and what steps to take to catch up the missing stones.

"Parents don't fail their children," Sahil says.

"Systems do. And we built Neurolens to fix the system."

Founded three years ago, Gabify has since grown from an idea into a clinical-grade platform trusted by therapy centers, developmental pediatricians, special educators and parents across India.

The startup Gabify announced the close of its pre-seed funding round in April 2026, on this World Autism Awareness month, a moment that felt less like a business milestone and more like a promise being kept

In India, over 18 million children are estimated to be living with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech delays, or other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Most of them are diagnosed late — often after age five, sometimes after age seven. In those missed years, entire windows of early intervention close quietly, one by one.

This is the crisis a group of youths, some with Autism searched for an answer.

As of early 2026, India is the world's most populous country with an estimated population over 1.47 billion, representing roughly 17.8% of the global total and a land area covering a total area of approximately 3,287,263 square kilometres. As of late 2023–early 2026, there are approximately 2,840 to 3,372 clinical psychologists officially registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and while the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) has over 30,000 general pediatrician members, trained developmental pediatricians are concentrated in major child development centers and cities from this group. Now the 18 million children are estimated to be living with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech delays, or other neurodevelopmental conditions is an assumption and yet to be tested.

In this size of the country, seeing the missed opportunities for a delayed child, Gabify set out to fix. And Neurolens was invented as their answer

Here Comes Neurolens by Gabify and it’s AI!

Identification of childhood Autism and other neurodivergence in minutes

Neurolens by Gabify is a 5-minute, AI-powered screening tool developed in New Delhi by a team of autistic innovators. It is designed to identify early signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech-language disorders, and other neurodevelopmental conditions in young children.

How It Works

The platform uses a multi-modal AI approach to evaluate behavioral and acoustic indicators typically observed during clinical assessments. The process involves:

Salient Features for Identification

Milestone Tracking: Beyond initial screening, the platform can track ongoing milestones like vocabulary growth and response time to provide clinicians with better context for therapy planning.

The Science Behind the Screen

What makes Neurolens different is not just its reach — it is its depth. The platform is built on a multi-framework AI model that draws from globally recognized assessment tools including M-CHAT-R, CARS, ISAA, and the MISIC (Malin's Intelligence Scale for Indian Children) — culturally adapted for the Indian context where developmental norms, family dynamics, and early stimulation environments are distinct from the Western models most tools are designed around.

Screening results are generated instantly, mapped against clinical thresholds, and presented in multi-language reports that a parent in any part of the country can understand — and act upon.

For clinicians, the platform provides structured diagnostic pathways. For parents, it provides clarity and a starting point. For children, it provides time to recapture the missed milestones and set life to growth.

Gabify - No Child Is Left Behind

Reaching where others don’t

India has approximately 1 child psychologist for every 2,00,000 children. In rural India, that ratio is far worse. Neurolens was designed specifically with this vacuum in mind.

Through partnerships with Anganwadi centers, Women and Child Development departments, and therapy franchise networks, Gabify is building a distributed screening infrastructure that brings Neurolens to the doorstep — not just to the clinic. A parent in a Tier 3 town in Andhra Pradesh, a teacher at a government school in UP, a health worker at an ICDS center in Maharashtra — all of them can now be the first line of early identification.

Neurolens is not just a product. It is a public health intervention, where millions of children can dream for a successful life.

The Ripple Effect

The impact of early detection is not abstract. For a child with autism identified at 18 months versus 5 years, the difference in outcomes is measurable and profound — in speech, in social connection, in academic performance, in quality of life. For families, early diagnosis means fewer years of guilt, confusion, and unanswered questions. For society, it means more children growing up with the support they need to thrive as adults.

Neurolens exists in that gap between the moment a parent first notices something, and the moment they finally get an answer. Gabify is determined to make that gap as short as possible.

The Autism Awareness Month

As we mark Autism Awareness Month this April, Neurolens stands as proof that technology — when built with empathy, clinical rigor, and a deep respect for the communities it serves — can be transformative. Not just for the children it screens, but for the parents who finally feel heard, the clinicians who can now reach more families, and the quiet, invisible crisis of late diagnosis that has gone on for far too long in this country.

Every child deserves to be seen. Neurolens is making sure of it.

How Neurolens Bridge the Gap to Clarity through AI?

Neurolens doesn't just "guess"—it observes. Using deep learning models trained on thousands of behavioral patterns, our AI amplifies expert observation to give you a clear, structured roadmap.

Multimodal Capture

Neurolens analyzes more than just speech, capturing voice patterns, facial expressions, response timing, and behavioral markers from videos or guided sessions.

Behavioral Signal Processing

The AI converts raw video and audio into measurable signals, mapping them against clinically established developmental benchmarks.

Clinical Framework Matching

Our system aligns findings with standardized screening frameworks like DSM-aligned criteria and speech/language milestones to ensure professional-grade accuracy.

Pattern Recognition Engine

Using deep learning, Neurolens identifies subtle correlations like micro-delays and non-verbal gaps that are often invisible to the human eye.

Expert-Style Screening Report

The final output provides a clinician-ready summary that bridges the gap between parental clarity and professional structure.
