Dear friends of Chakshumathi,
It's almost 15 years or more since we first talked, and the world has changed a lot. I'd like to give you a few ideas about what comes next in this chairman's message. Think of where the world is today and where it was 2010, 15 years ago. Then, let’s look forward to where we might be in 2040.
I think the future, like the present, will be built on three Cs: Content, Connectivity, and Computing. Content is what we all survive on; it was what Google search was built on. It is what the web was built on, and it is what the internet is built on. The second C, Connectivity, is of course connecting all the world's information and all the world's computing.
This brings enormous power. And finally, the third C, Computing, which has grown way more than we could have imagined even 10 years ago. When you put these three things together, Content, Connectivity, and Computing, is what is currently powering the AI revolution.
As students and parents, you have a large variety of things you can benefit from. In the past, we have talked about Math access. Now you can talk to the machine and ask it to teach you math.
In the past, we've talked about web access. Now you can talk to the machine and ask it to summarize a web page for you.
I look forward to seeing what you will all make of this in the next 15 years.
Wishing all a good read.
